Submit a Based Book

Submit your ebook to be considered for a future Based Book of the Day.

How Based Book of the Day works

  1. Choose an available feature date. Feature dates cover a rolling 3-week window starting 14 days ahead (Eastern Time). Dates open in this order: Wednesdays; then Saturdays; then Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. Each group opens only when every date in the earlier groups is reserved. Each date is reserved for one book.
  2. Submit your ebook for review. Select an ebook connected to your author account and at least one marketplace where it will be free or $0.99 on the selected date.
  3. Approval schedules your feature. Once approved, your book automatically becomes the Based Book of the Day for your chosen date. We will notify you by email.
  4. Prepare your deal. Make sure the selected marketplaces offer your submitted price on your feature date.

You can have one pending submission at a time. Once it is approved, rejected, or its feature date passes, you can submit again. See scheduled books on the upcoming books page.
